Granular Roadway Improvements – Murray Avenue 372-2012
Upgrading Murray Road in Northwest Winnipeg
The Murray Avenue project improved drainage and upgraded the existing roadway to meet current guidelines. This project, covering two kilometers on Murray Road in northwest Winnipeg was designed to be completed in two phases in 2012 and 2013. This work was completed over a feedermain requiring non-static compaction methods. Despite delays due to hydro pole relocations, Chabot’s coordinated and concentrated efforts resulted in timely completion. Chabot’s fully owned equipment fleet and aggregate supply allowed total schedule control for the successful completion of this project.
