L. Chabot Enterprises – Serving the Winnipeg region for 50 years

L. Chabot Enterprises has roots that date back to 1965, when Lucien Chabot started out as an owner-operator in Winnipeg with a single truck working on construction projects. With determination, hard work and the support of his family, Lou built up his business.

As time went on, Lou was able to acquire more trucks, and then a loader. In 1975, his son Chubb Chabot joined the business and they formed a slow and steady plan for the growth of their endeavor: augment the equipment fleet and be able to diversify to take on more projects. Most notably they purchased the company’s first gravel pit in the 1990’s which propelled the company’s growth when they successfully entered the Winnipeg aggregate production market. Together Lou and Chubb were the driving force building the company into the construction force it has become.

That was 50 years ago — today, Chabot Enterprises is taking on high profile projects shaping the Winnipeg landscape, infrastructure and surrounding municipalities. Chabot is now run by the second and third generation members of the family - and the people that make up the company are dedicated to continuing the Chabot legacy started by Lucien.
